We recently completed a sit with a menagerie of different 12 creatures so I thought it would be good to add them to our profile. Impossible. It seems if you have looked after dogs and ordinary cats, you can add them BUT if the cats are not ordinary, you can’t. Just as you can’t add alpacas, because there is no category for them. Nor can you add poultry, tortoises or parrots if you don’t know their breed. The cats were F2 Savannahs and Oriental short hair for which there is no category. Or am I missing something?
I think alpacas & sheep come under farm animals. You can also mention them in your profile. I don’t think it’s so important about different breeds of cats but, if applying for cat sits then mention them. You can add poultry
I am not a fan of the “cared for” icons. I think it makes a sitter’s profile look busy. I’d rather see photos of the sitter with the animals in the photos or just a list of different animals.

I didn’t even know there is a ‘cared for’ section. Is that recent? I don’t think I would bother with it either - people can read in my profile and my message what pets I’ve looked after.
That section of the profile is new, and I don’t pay attention to it. In the narrative portion of my profile I list all the types of animals I have cared for and how many of each. I call it my “petsitting by the numbers” list.
