How many sets of sit dates can you request at one time. We have a few events this year so wanted to ask for sitters early. Ive tried to add 3 but can only see 2.
I’m not sure if there’s a limit. I’ve seen listings with 8-9 sets of dates, set throughout the year.
Welcome to the forum @Clare1. You should be able to add three and I’ve seen more than that too. Having multiple dates advertised can put owners under stress if they receive 5 applications quickly for all their set dates, after which THS will automatically pause the listing for the dates. Some applications will be suitable; others you will decline then you can manually unpause the listing to receive more applications if none suitable. This all takes time. What owners need to think about is that sitters also value their time. If you wait to deal with all applications for all sets of dates at the same time, you are very likely going to lose some very good applicants if you have not acknowledged their application early. THS recommends up to 72 hours for communication to take place. Sitters can see when their application has been read, yet often do not receive any response from an owner for days/weeks or never. You may, of course, be well organised and can deal with multiple applications in a timely manner.
Thanks. I tried to add a third date but can only see the 2 dates that are added. These are for June and a holiday in Sept. Not sure if the third date was on display for others tho 
(was a Sept one for a wedding)
I have declined sitters as have accepted one for my June date.
I try to respond quickly to sitters.
