I have found the page that list sitters who have favorited my sits in the past. I cannot find a way to contact ones who still look active and are available. I know how to contact past sitters (and have reached out to a few) but can’t find a way to connect with potentials. This is the first time I have posted a sit and not had applications in the first 48 hours!

Am pretty sure you can contact them by inviting them to your sit dates. You can do that with multiple sitters and see if anyone’s free. Not sure you can just “chat” so that might solve it. #invitetime
As @Cuttlefish says you can “invite “ them - this isn’t an invitation to sit - it’s an invitation to apply to sit for you - you do need to have dates listed ( which it sounds like you have already done ) .
“Invite” them to apply, it’s brilliant because it then means there a line of conversation open for the future too, because even if they can’t help you right now, you may discover they are planning on sitting in your area in the future.

Hey Dianne! We posted our sit request and received so many Saves but no applicants over a month. (our trip is next year) I started to “invite” sitters and some replied back that weren’t available for our sit, but would possibly want to apply for a different sit/dates. I have one that may be interested in applying but is waiting on another possible sit interview this week-end. I also talked with other Trusted House sitters (home owners) in my area to see if they had folks to recommend and then reached out to them directly through the website. We are fairly new to THS too.
