Boosted dates? How does it work?

Hello!

I have a question, how do boosted dates work? How long are they boosted for?

I boosted my new dates today as I have a trip (coming up soon) and the dates don’t even show on the first listings (not even after page 4).

Also, it would be nice to have an option on the “search for house sits” page to see the dates in chronological order.

@admins can someone please explain my question above?

Ty

I can’t offer any advice on how the boosted dates work sorry and I’m also not sure which moderators are online on weekends @Jenny @Carla @Therese to answer your query. I hope someone can jump in soon to help you.

Insofar as “search for sit dates” to appear in chronological order, I totally agree and would love to see this also, this has been raised quite a few times on the Forum.

Good luck with your boosting query and outcome.

Hi @Ckone2541 when you are looking for your own listing have you changed your filters to ‘newest’ rather than the default ‘low applications’. If you boost or even redo the dates on your listing then it should get a ‘new’ flag added. I believe this will stayed flagged as new for 48 hours after which it changes to low applications if it has less than 3 applicants. Hope that helps.

@Ckone2541 On searching Broward County there are 5 listings showing, 3 are ‘new’, 1 is in Ft Lauderdale with 4 applicants and 1 is described as a mini zoo with a low applications flag and no applicants. So if you don’t have a mini zoo or 4 applicants then your listing should be one of the ‘new’ ones.

Hello @Ckone2541 ,

When you boost your listing, it will stay at the top until a new one is posted over it. So this could be a matter of 5 minutes or even 2 days.
