Bring back profile photo galleries (and descriptions) on the app! 📸

We have been housesitting with THS for the past 8 years and have loved every bit of it.

We usually log in on our laptops, where we’ve taken quite a lot of care over the years to upload a detailed photo gallery to our profile. We made sure to write thoughtful (and hopefully funny!) descriptions for each picture to really showcase our personality and, most importantly, our genuine interactions with the pets we care for—which is really what housesitting is all about!

I just realized recently that when homeowners or sitters view our profile on the mobile app, only our main profile picture shows up. The rest of the gallery and those carefully written descriptions aren’t visible at all.

It feels like such a shame (and a bit sad!), as so much of the love and story behind a sit is told through those photos and captions. Seeing how a sitter bonds with animals in action is such a huge part of building trust for pet parents.

Could the product/tech team please consider bringing photo galleries and descriptions back to the app profiles? It would make a world of difference for both sitters showcasing their experience and owners trying to get a feel for who we are!

Thanks for sharing that feedback @Wiebke - I’ve passed it over to the team

@Wiebke I’m a sitter. I just checked my app photos and they are still all there. I did notice that the captions are now at the bottom of the screen, which seems quite distant from the photos and could go unnoticed. I’m using an iPhone 16. Maybe other members could say whether or not theirs have changed?

Interesting! I am an Android user, and everything is gone :frowning:

@Jenny note the different phones. Maybe that’s a factor tech would want to know.

Also an Android user, but everything is fine on the app for me. version 3.31.0

Wow, that is strange! I wonder whether homeowners might see the whole galery once they got an application?

Sitter here. I had some photos & all my captions disappear right after one of the rollouts — but it looks fixed for me now.

Running on iPhone 16 Pro w/iOS 26.5.2, THS app ver 3.32 (w/the new darker green icon.)

That’s a great point @Snowbird - thank you very much - I will do
