Bulk archiving cancels open sit applications

Apparently another new feature is causing issues. If you’re sending off multiple sit applications and once they’re complete you then archive them all, the system then cancels the lot automatically. THS have fessed up to it but don’t see it as an issue (apparently). Sitter then has to go back to the host, explain and reapply. Being discussed on other THS groups. #newimprovements

This happened by archiving all your open conversations/applications in your inbox?

Cheers for that info @Cuttlefish . Do the applications show as cancelled or do they disappear? I had an application vanish after I sent it 10 days ago and I very well may have archived the communication. No response from THS on it.

This wasn’t actually me, it was another member who archived all her ongoing apps (to concentrate on more current ones) & when you press archive to a group of messages then the system then auto cancelled all the sits in the archive box. I’ll DM you both what happened @MaggieUU @teya #justatick

So it would seem this happens even when archiving a single communication and not necessarily a bulk one. Nice one.

Thanks for raising this, and thank you @Jenny for escalating it.

We’ve added an on-screen message to make it clear that archiving a discussion will decline or withdraw you from the sit.
