I am new here and wanted to get some guidance of some sort on how this works. I noticed this forum shortly after signing up, do I just post my availability here to house/pet sit? Would love some info please.

Once you have a profile you have to apply for sits, posting availability and waiting for invitations isn’t going to get many, if any sits.

Lots of home/pet owners think that sitters are on a kind of menu with availability a bit like a list of sitters, but it’s quite the opposite of this. In fact the HOs are on a huge location menu list with available dates and they’re hoping to attract sitters like you to apply for their dates.

Have you paid for THS membership ?
As soon as you have completed your profile you can search listings for the dates and the locations you are looking for and apply for them .
You can apply for as many as you want .
