Ok, let me see if I got this right.
A HO sends me a personal invite. Screens me, confirms that I can stay in their home on the dates they choose AND I have to pay to accept an invitation???
Being both a HO and PS I am baffled by the PS having to pay to stay in my house, for free, to watch my pets and NOW there is an additional fee? This seems really counterintuitive.
@CHS-Erica, unless you’re a premium member then your understanding is correct.
That said, on other Forum threads then some pet parents have voluntarily offered to pay the booking fee of housesitter - as incentive to accept and/or in recognition of short duration sit.
