There is almost nothing to compare with watching a dog (unless you have a pet leopard!) built for speed run across a field just chasing the wind! Here is Seamus the Lurcher and he lives on the edge of a lovely village outside of Hereford. The countryside up there is like the ‘Shire’ that Tolkien describes in The Hobbit; with rolling green hills, secret ways through woodland, a pub that doubles as a butchers and on Tuesdays a post office and a bus (for want of a better word) that might come once a week if you are lucky and leave you stranded in Hereford with your shopping…but then thats another story! So heres Seamus and some of our walks (always on a lead near farm animals) and after a four hour walk…a cosy little pub for dinner then home along quite country lanes. A perfect day with a great mate.
