Hi Forum. We have a 2nd home where we spend our summers July - October. Only our Mexico home is listed to find sitters via THS as I cant see paying for a 2nd separate full membership. I can’t wait to be there, arriving July 1. I am a little worried about finding a reliable vetted sitter for our 1 week trip in mid July. Have people actually deleted all their primary home details and reloaded the “other” house to use the same THS membership to manage this situation?
I am currently in a private chat with someone who posted here last month in a similar situation. So someone here can send you a private message and you can then take it over to another method of communication.
We have a previous host who we’ve seen posting for sitters in both their homes- in UK & France. They switch pics & details each time for the relevent sit. Another host I’ve seen has pictures & descriptions of both homes in the same listing. At the top of the intro they state which home the listed dates are for. You definitely do not need to make a separate listing but do be very clear in your header and Intro to avoid confusion. Then once you have a video chat you can clarify further.
I hadn’t considered this option. thanks for the idea. now to overcome the problem of having the need for a sitter at each place at the same time - my kitty HATES the car so she stays in Mexico while we travel to Chicago with our dog for the summer. For now, I will list the condo on the Global Pet Sitters site as their memberships are free while they build members.
