Could THS member pricing model reflect geography?

Thought rekindle this topic from few months ago.

Over recent whiles, there seems to have been a steady and increasing stream of THS Forum threads about cross-border housesitting; and about poor housesitter availability (esp for US listings). For illustration, related posts from last week alone jotted below.

Idea - introduce geography into THS membership:

  • US membership: US pet parents can attract/confirm US housesitters. US housesitters can apply/confirm US listings
  • NonUS membership: NonUS pet parents can attract/confirm NonUS housesitters. NonUS housesitters can apply/confirm NonUS listings
  • Global: No geographic limitations to pet parents or housesitters

This may help to rebalance supply-demand for US listings and nonUS listings, and to likely reduce the number of listings that fail to secure a housesitter.
