If you’re referring to a post on the Facebook group about a very rude sitter, that group is unofficial and totally separate from this forum.
If it is about the Facebook-post, I find it very off-putting if someone spreads personal information about others online (name, location, photos). Had it been published here on forum it would have been taken down. The Facebook-group is not a part of the platform and not necessarily moderated according to THS-standards.
I see that you have reported, @aleeka29 which is fine, if that post is indeed what this is about. I would however delete the personal data on the sitter, as it reflects badly on the one that has published it in my opinion.

If it’s that Facebook thread where the sitter applicant went off on the host, I’d appreciate knowing if I were another host. If someone snaps like that for no good reason, imagine what they might do if they were in your home and with your pets. There was another thread where a couple of sitters apparently stole and assumed the identities of their hosts.
I don’t think people should randomly dox others, but it can be a public service to keep nuts or criminals out of hosts’ homes.

If it was about the Facebook post, that sitter sounded unhinged, I wouldn’t want her anywhere near my house or pets.

If it was the FB-post, the host said to the sitter that the sitter had been reported.
Unfortunately, THS doesn’t often boot people, even ones who seem like they shouldn’t be allowed near some hosts’ homes or pets.

anyone not in support of, how would you feel if it were done to you. I am astonished at anyone who would side with someone so unhinged. It doesn’t say anything about me, it says something about you! Everyone should be aware that someone like this could potentially be in their home.

Our Forum guidelines mean that members can’t share private messages, so although I can appreciate why you’re upset, we had to remove them from your post.
I checked up on the situation and Membership Services are on top of things - they have reached out to the sitter involved.
