Wish I’d seen this article sooner! I just returned from Greece and noticed stray cats everywhere!
My first thought was “Oh wow, neat!” … I have a book called “Kittens in the Sun” which is full of lovely photos of cats on one of those picturesque all-white-and-blue Greek islands, and as a photographer I’d love that. But when you read the description, it’s a lot of work and 75% of your time will be spent cleaning and “you will also routinely encounter local wildlife, including plenty of insects, spiders, and scorpions” !
