“Explore near you” feature on app

Are any sitters using this feature successfully? I don’t remember whether I set it up or what, but when I click on it, it shows sits all over the U.S., which doesn’t make sense. (It’s a feature under saved searches.)

I cannot find that feature (I am using the iOS app).

Thanks for checking. I’m on iOS as well.

This is what my Saved searches look like now (I want to see the Aurora this winter):

Thank you!

I don’t remember creating such a search and it doesn’t seem to work anyway, so I’ll just ignore it.

It shows U.S. sits from coast to coast and points in between. Maybe that’s what THS thinks is “near” me, LOL.

Maybe you’re an unwitting guinea pig for a new feature?

Unlikely, because one of the key elements of trialing features is getting enough exposure / guinea pigs so that you can get enough signals to make a decision on whether something is working or not. For testing purposes, that’s known as “statistical significance.”

They don’t tell us anything about those results so the point is moot. :upside_down_face:

They don’t have to. For their own purposes, they’d want enough signals.
