Famous cats

Reports once circulated from staff around 10 Downing Street London UK suggesting that, should the time ever come, special arrangements for Larry the Cat had already been considered. ..

• An official announcement to the public
• A prepared media statement from staff
• A release documenting his life and service
• And even talk of a special tribute

However, these reports remain unconfirmed, and their accuracy is still somewhat unclear. A plan like this is usually reserved for Royalty…

What is certain is that Larry is now 19 years old — roughly equivalent to about 92 in human years. He has also served for 15 years in national duty as Chief Mouser at 10 Downing Street.

It’s no surprise many believe Larry truly deserves special recognition. Some have even suggested he should receive a knighthood — turning him into “Sir Larry.”

After all, he’s far more than just a cat…
He’s a legend known across the world…xx

I vote for giving him the Prime Minister’s job.

I can’t believe they’re still making Larry work at 92. Does Britain not have pensions for retired government felines? So backwards there.

I’m just concerned about Larry’s replacement once he decides to retire. Lots of social and political divisions among cats these days.
