I do hate housework and on a housesit I try to reduce the clean up area and time taken away from spending it with the dogs in my care.. some homes have few rules about access for their pets, while some are very strict.
When I had my Great Danes I deliberately chose dog friendly furnishings. Of course they loved a cuddle on the sofa!
Do you think people are getting more relaxed about this issue now that pets are more accepted in pubs and hotels?
I know I’m a softie when it comes to law enforcement!
I’ve had some terrible experiences on housesits where no rules apply.. muddy dogs on duvets, anyone?
