We are relatively new to this site, having joined and found one sitter who looked after our house and cat while we were on holiday just before the pandemic hit. We have just returned from an extended holiday and were pleased with the sitter even though we felt more anxious about travelling and also about having a sitter during Covid. I wonder how others are feeling about having sitters and also sitting while we are still in the midst of a pandemic?

Thank you for sharing your latest experience, it’s so good to hear about our members being able to travel, both owners and sitters.
There are still different situations around the world, even within the same country. We are aware of sitters who in the past have enjoyed an international pet sitting lifestyle are (for now) choosing to continue their pet sitting domestically and having great experiences.
At the moment trave is about careful planning and making informed and considered personal choices.

Thanks for your response, Angela. These are indeed strange times and planning can be more problematic but is feels good to be getting back out there. We are already looking at our diaries again! I look forward to connecting with others on this page (even if sporadically!)
