Unless you lost or hurt someone’s pet or burned their house down, it is completely unacceptable to yell or swear at you. And if it did happened, they need to follow up with an apology.

Never hurt any pet after caring for over a 100 cats and working for a rescue centre. And no I didn’t burn the house down.
Just say you have a zero tolerance policy in respect of violence and abuse, and leave.

Were you ever able to get this sorted in terms of feedback to the homeowner, or via intervention by THS or no? Sorry you are dealing with that.
Very good pet rescue. Bit odd accepting food dates. Also the light issue is he worried about bills. Its a free service. Someone with issues but i see the HO is banned is that right ok tc
If a host is so worried about utilities that they’d yell and swear at someone, they can’t afford to go on a trip and should stay home.
The host also self-acknowledged that they’d been banned from the forum, because of their behavior. Another sign that something is wrong with them.
No one should be defending someone like this. This person probably should get therapy and/or medication.
When someone is so easily triggered, they have the potential to go off at anytime, not just during a sit.

UPDATE - I spoke to the wonderful Jenny at THS. Unfortunately it’s my word against the HO’s so THS can’t do much.
I have left a review stating what happened (the HO didn’t). The HO has responded to my review disputing the facts as I guess you’d expect as he’s looking to post more sits I believe.
You know what happened @richten1 and have been honest in your review. Potential sitters applying for that sit will see how experienced you are and know you’re review is true. He’s done his own damage where his response is on his listing profile.
