Improvements

So, now that THS had clearly changed their policy without giving any feedback, I wonder if they could share the list of improvements that will be possible with all the new money.

Wouldn’t that be nice, as well as respectful. Yes, members we have heard you and here are our plans for improvements, with timelines. But, unlike the botched implementation of 2FA and the dreadful mess with the new terms and conditions we’re going to thoroughly check and test changes, before they go live.

When I decline an application, THS prompts me to write a message that is delivered as part of the decline notice they receive.

When I send 1 applicant the invite, I believe there’s a prompt for a message to the invited applicant.

An improvement to this process would be a prompt to write a message to any other applicants that receives a decline notice if the invited sitter accepts. So 2 messages prompt when making the invite. THS currently sends a canned decline message automatically and that default text could be used as the seed text.

We would say you have two hopes in life of THS actually paying attention to the unwelcome 2FA, booking fee additions, restrictive timing info, home tasks now in the wrong place, app and website inconsistencies and on it goes. They are in fact known as Bob Hope and No Hope :rofl:#oldieisagoodie

I wonder if the following is meant to be an ‘improvement’;

On looking at an open THS advert the location on the map is no longer accurate. A Wales sit was pinned to Ireland, a southern England to northern, France to Spain etc.

If you leave the app open and check out the town or place on Google maps to see an accurate location on returning to the THS app advert it’s gone right back to the start search page. Arghh.

I have emailed app feedback but does anybody else have this issue?
