Hello, Can anyone verify that both peope in a couple is covered by THS insurance? Usually, one person is the primary member who has the background checks, etc. I know THS allows couples to sit, but my concern is worse case scenario there is damage to my home, would THS cover damage caused by the non primary member? I’ve tried asking this question on the AI Chat but get nowhere.

Yes, damage caused by the other sitter would be covered.

There is insurance but THS would always advise you to claim on your home insurance first and foremost if there was damage on a sit. Theirs is secondary. #goodtobecovered

It also depends on what plan a sitter is on.
I am on a Basic Membership which does not include any insurance for anything
