Hello! I first posted the listing well in advance of our holiday which is on 7th September. I then reposted it a couple of weeks later (in a vain attempt to bump it??). We’ve had very few takers, which is super unusual - we typically holiday in September and have had no issues in the past. Anyone got any clues as to why the listing is not being picked up?

Firstly you didn’t go wrong. You have had previous sitters who all left glowing reviews and some expressed a wish to return, which is always a good sign. Could you contact them to see if they are available?
I feel your profile is comprehensive and has a welcoming and appreciative tone. Requesting no meat products be cooked in your home may reduce the pool of applicants. As a tall couple we would struggle with a double bed in such a confined space. I would also need to ask you where Stan sleeps during the night.
Other than that I just think it is a sitter’s market at the moment and we have so much choice.
I hope you continue to find great sitters.
Is there public transport eg train then bus to arrive on?
