First time we’re applying for overlapping sits. Before you send the application there is a message that says “you agree that THS informs the owners of both sits of the overlap”.
While I don’t have a problem with that (we’ll inform them ourselves anyway), I’d like to know when THS sends the message and how it is worded.
E.g if you apply for sit B, does owner A immediately get a message saying you applied for another sit that overlaps with the dates you already agreed on? Or is it only after you confirm sit B?
Anybody know how it is worded?
And did you get a positive/negative/neutral/no reaction from both owners?
@ElsGiven that sitters can apply for an infinite number of open sits across overlapping dates I’d say the message will only pop up for “HO B” IF you have confirmed a sit with “HO A” and there is an overlap with your application for their dates.
Whilst I can not comment on the actual wording, I’d say it’d be simply advising them that you are an approved Duo Sitter and have already accepted a sit who’s dates overlap.
“I thought I’d pop on and confirm that the owner you already have a confirmed sit with is notified when the second sit is confirmed. We would encourage sitters to signpost their intention to utilise duo sitter wherever possible. ”
