Hello all and the point has I think been made today on this topic, but we have to remember that as with most things there are others who might feel differently, but don’t feel so confident to express their views publicly.
A quick search on Google today of various terms surprised me at just how commonly used some of these are by many pet companies and also individuals 
And as has been mentioned there are some members who are very comfortable with this in their listings and profiles. Marketing is marketing and follows trends - that’s business.
It’s important in a public space that we remain respectful of everyone’s choices of words and expressions (within the forum and platform guidelines). As is often said, you can always move on or pass by anything that doesn’t sit well with your personal preferences.
