Same pet/owner, different location?

A comment on another thread got me thinking about this… Have you looked after the same pet(s) for the same owners in different locations?

There are two HOs that I regularly sit for, one with a home in London, the other with a countryside house. They often holiday together, so I take care of both their dogs at one or other of the houses.

It’s quite fun to see the city dog enjoying the wild delights of the woods, and the country dog all excited by the varied aromas of the city.

How about you?

Yes our regular hosts have 3 properties and we have sat in all 3 - one was without the dog which felt very strange. I kept looking for him to lick out my yoghurt pot in the morning :joy:

Yes, I bet it was rather lonely without him!

Not yet, but we will soon!

Hosts we regularly sit for are due to move to a different part of the country. We are due to sit for them in their temporary rented house next month. After that, the next time we sit for them will hopefully be near the sea!

Yes. I sat 3 times for a couple near Cheltenham. Because of Brexit, they moved to Southern Ireland (he is Irish) and I was invited to sit for them there last year, which was a wonderful experience. In 10 days I will be doing a repeat sit (3rd time) in Ilkley but, since the last time I sat for them, they have moved house. I’m looking forward to their new home.

I have my first repeat sit in a new location in May. Prior sit was 4 dogs, 2 very senior with property surrounded by woods. May sit is with 2 of the same dogs and 2 new ones on the Atlantic coast. It will be interesting to see if the 2 dog remeber me.
