Have to download & look at the few I took, just 26% here. Still cool to see.

I just can’t even, with the comments on some of the news pages. People have no bleeping clue how the world works anymore. Don’t they teach science in school anymore? Doesn’t anyone care to learn how an eclipse (or other things in nature) work? “I sat in my garden for 2 hours and nothing happened. It didn’t even get dark. What a waste of time.” They’re in a 90% zone. No, it does not really get “dark” at 90%! 🤦‍♀️ What do they expect?
Note to self: don’t read news page comments 🙄

I did sense the light was a wee little bit less and it was a tiny little bit less hot at 26%.

Anyway, in lieu of total eclipse photos from me, please enjoy this kittyclipse from [Fat Cat Art](https://www.facebook.com/fatcatart.ru).

Stunning photos @Sam_F 😍

I think the following meme sums up what things were like in my part of the world 🤣

@Jenny it wasn’t much better in Durham. We thought the clouds were going to pass, but no, I’ve seen images just 5 miles away where it was lovely, darn’it!

26% maximum here. Still neat to see and it reminded me of previous eclipse adventures.
There were a couple of really small sunspots, just below the moon to the left here.
