I have checked and it does exist. It’s registered in the [Oxford Learner’s Dictionary](https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english/bicyclist?q=bicyclist)

When a language is spoken in so many countries and regions it’s impossible to be familiar with all the words used by other speakers in other parts of the world.
