I am really curious about this. Do they stay in the motor home all the time or do they get time outside?
Unfortunately they are not harness trained. We tried a collar on them once and they actually conspired to remove it from each other! They were 2 year old rescues when we got them and actually show zero interest in wanting to be outside (they nearly died on the streets) - I think they like the creature comforts and safety of being indoors. There is a big window over the cab area that they like to look out of and nap near, and when they are active they like jumping around and exploring all the nooks and crannies of the RV, or chasing after their toys.
When we get some time we may try to fashion a catio to hang out one of the windows, so can sit and enjoy.
Thanks everyone for the very kind thoughts! Will definitely pop in with some updates from time to time on our travels across America. We are heading out in the motorhome for 3-4 months after we return from this one week trip to Copenhagen - I’m running in the half marathon there.
They really are a great kitchen tool! Never would have guessed it, but they are!
Yes - it’s my second time. I much prefer warm destinations but my son has never been so went with his choice this time around!
I did that in June (not a THS sit - a friend from out of town just happened to be here the same dates), and it was amazing! Have a great trip

This reminds me of Travels with Charley, by John Steinbeck. Have you named your motor home? Steinbeck’s was called Rocinante.
