I can never remember how to report inappropriate listings. This one is looking for 2 people to help one of the pet parents (who will be home) provide unpaid labor for horses and other animals. It sure would be nice to have a report button.
Thanks for making us aware of this.
I have taken a note of the link and will pass it over to the team!
If you want to report a listing in future, you can ask Frankie, our chatbot. It takes you through a few questions then passes the details to the team.
I hear you on the report button - every time someone suggests that I do pass it to the team as I understand clicking a button would be a super fast way to do it. I’ll keep banging that drum for you all.

It sure would be nice if THS would vet all lisings, as they claim to.
If they did, sits with third parties present wouldn’t see the light of day.
This is contrary to what I’ve been led to believe, which is that THS does NOT actively review host listings. Can you provide a source as to where you read that THS does this?
From the THS website:
TrustedHousesitters manually approve each new listing to ensure that all sits adhere to our Code of Conduct, Terms and Conditions, and pet parent guidelines.
Thanks.. Clearly that is not happening. Or at least, not immediately.
Now that I think about it my listing was approved as soon as I filled out all the sections. There wasn’t time for human intervention.
To be clear, this host has good reviews from previous sitters when (I think) there was no 3rd party on site. So they changed the listing for this particular date. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they didn’t know they were breaking a rule.
It does make me wonder how much work that sit entails if one of the two homeowners needs the help of 2 sitters to man the fort when their partner is travelling. No thank you. I already have a job.
