Timing of THS messages to HOs

I got my first message today from THS with my cleaning checklist. For a sit that starts in 2 days.

I also got messages on October 28th and November 4th telling me to plan ahead for my Thanksgiving getaways and find a great sitter.

Girl, these messages are late. Really late! It doesn’t bother me, because I’ve prepared for many sits and I’ve got the routine down, and I secured my US Thanksgiving sit back in August. But is there any wonder that we have newer HOs wondering why no one is responding to their holiday sit they just posted, or sitters arriving to homes where the cleaning might be a bit lackluster?

Help HOs be the best hosts they can, and tell them to start planning for end of year holidays in the summer. And send those cleaning checklists at the same time as the WG reminders, which are well in advance. Nothing wrong with last minute messaging, but they should reflect their timing.

Sitters get one which says something along the lines of
“Are you ready for your sit ? - check your passport is valid “
It is sent two days before a sit !!!

A bit late for an international trip to find out your passport is out of date !!!

Top tip for those THS couples seeking to avoid silly emails from THS … make your spouse the primary account holder :wink: … no more emails, yay :innocent:

We raised that two day passport thing with MS about two years ago @Silversitters and they’re still doing it!! #slowcoaches
