Trust Pilot and THS

@Lancs-wanderers This also makes it very clear the effect the booking fees have had on members.

Trustpilot does not require you to provide your contact details or membership number in order for your review to remain on the site. They do not threaten to remove your review for failing to provide this information.

If a business wants to respond to the review or address the content of the review or attempt to help but cannot identify the customer or guest in order to know what they’re addressing they can ask for more details to be provided. Trustpilot send an email requesting that.
The email asks to provide details and gives you a 3 day period to do so. It also advises that failing to do so may mean they’re “unable to recognize your review as genuine”. This does not mean removal, it means your review does not get the Verified label attached.

The business (in this case THS) may be able to get the review removed if it violates Trustpilot’s terms. Make sure you write a review that does not do this.
They also use automated tools to flag and remove reviews so it is quite possible that this incorrectly flags and removes your review. If so just write another one.

I have just received yet another request from THS via Trust Pilot asking to verify who I am.
I did this previously - how much proof do they need that it is a genuine review?

I’ve just had the same request from Trustpilot. Surprised as my disappinted in new fees review was posted a month ago. Maybe because I received 20 useful ticks.
