TrustedHousesitters' guide to house sitting during coronavirus

As well as our coronavirus cleaning guide (and individual guides for Owners and Sitters), we want to provide you with the most up-to-date and relevant information, as many parts of the world begin to reopen and make a return to local travel.

With that in mind, we’ve pulled together a short guide detailing some of our most frequently asked questions, plus some tips on how to prepare for a house sit during coronavirus. Read our updated guide here.

Really useful information and well worth reading before any new sits at the moment. So important to follow local advise and regulations.

Many thanks, I’ve loaded your guide, it’s in my PC now.
I feel ashamed to have behaved so “lightly” when I welcomed my sitters last august, but to tell the truth in my own sit in England at the same period, there were no gloves, no hydroalcoolic solution. I bought masks at the chemist when mine had to be thrown away. And the owner was a nurse, working as a volunteer in a nursing home.
This virus is everywhere, but it never seems around us. so we’re not afraid enough. We need to be more cautious, all of us. Young and older ones.
