Uninvited Guests

@Gentlefarm Well, so sorry you had this experience. Best wishes to you and your pets.

Glad it worked out.

We take for granted how hard communication actually is!

I had a female couple come and watch my pets early last year. One of them looked a little intimidating but I was not trying to be judgemental. We did a FaceTime interview and they seemed nice. They drove 6 hours from Atlanta. My husband arrived home from out of state before I did, and he noticed puppy pads in our game room which has no carpet (entire first floor is not carpeted). I didn’t have those pads set out. After looking at the camera, I noticed that they were away for about 10-11 hours. My dog at the time was about 12 years old. Like you, I was hesitant to leave an honest review. Later that year I went to their profile and noticed that their profile is deactivated. Now I will go with my gut instinct. I feel like there are more good sitters than bad. As a back up, I use Rover and/or local neighbors (especially since it’s summer). I may mix these sitters with a THS sitter if THS sitter is unavailable for the entire duration.
