The sitter Review that describes your dog as ‘may growl at you’ needs addressing honestly in your listing. It’s a show stopper for most sitters I’m afraid.
I’m afraid this was 5 yrs ago when the sitter brought her husband and child and another dog to sit in our house. We were new to trusted house sitter and Winnie was clearly overwhelmed and intimidated by this family. We’ve been so lucky to have wonderful sitters since then who have been amazing with our lab and written lovely reviews to reflect this. I use trusted Housesitter for the reason you can vet the sitter and make sure they are experienced with dogs.
Thanks for pointing this out though! We have a young special needs child and she is the gentlest kindest soul, medical detection for his epilepsy and deserves a wonderfully special person to take care of her whilst we’re away.
It’s worth addressing the review in your description notes so that potential sitters don’t misinterpret what it might mean though.
Yes thanks for the tip, she’s a kind, gentle soul, very loyal and an incredible support to my sen son, just a little wary of strangers initially, like any lab if she’s walked, fed and watered and shown love she’s a happy waggy pup, if not a little more senior nowadays 
I wonder if it’s worth replying to that early review with this information as it’s likely to impact potential sitters. I don’t think there’s a time limit on responding to reviews.
