When to Boost & Invites

I have a sit coming up in May & had a couple applicants that were not suitable, so had to decline them, one seemed promising, but he took another sit instead of mine. My question is when should I actually boost my sitting to have the most impact. I know it’s barely March, but I’m starting to get anxious about getting a good sitter. My best sitters planned their stays months in advance. Also can’t tell who actually saved my particular sit dates, so I can’t invite people. I’ve invited many times in the past & it’s never worked.

Have you considered inviting any of your past sitters back where they have enjoyed sitting for you @Myka? By removing your dates briefly, then re-posting them, this will make your listing New once again. You can do this as often as you would like.

@Myka
Your listing is very friendly and welcoming to prospective sitters and I have no doubt you will get some applications. You’ve had very happy sitters in the past and nice reviews from them. Great that you offer your car for their use, that will make a big difference.
Although I can’t help, can you tell me what PNW stands for? You also say the dogs can be left alone once they’ve been walked but for how many hours maximum? That will be important for sitters to know.
Good luck!

PNW = Pacific Northwest (of the U.S.)

Your listing is fantastic, it looks great, but I would tweak one thing… your title :heart:.

At present you have:-
“Enjoy Forests, Waterfalls, Nature and Convenience in Oregon City”
But all I read on my laptop is below, and bear in mind it’s potentially shorter on a mobile:-
“Enjoy Forests, Waterfalls, Nature and”
So it makes you seem isolated in nature, so some sitters won’t apply that wanted to be near the city, thinking you are in the middle of nowhere, as they have nothing else to go on until they decide to click through to your profile or scroll on.

So maybe put instead:-
“Waterfalls + Nature in Oregon City” or something along those lines.
