Wondering if I should give up soon.
I feel I have three things working against us.
A) This thread is really long, so it seems there’s a major supply and demand issue.
B) I have high need cats.
C) I don’t think we live in a popular place. We live in the suburbs. I think our neighborhood is adorable compared to other nearby neighborhoods. BUT I feel I’m in competition with people who live in big, famous cities, beach towns, adorable historical areas, mountain places, etc.
I’m thinking it’s very likely I’ll need to cancel and go through a local service. I’m wondering how hard it is to get the refund from here. AND…should I give up all together…or would there be hope in the future.
If you’re a sitter, do you ever desire to visit suburbs in other countries? States?
If you’re a homeowner who lives in a less-exciting place, have you had luck in the past finding sitters?
Another thing: In my listing title, I say my cats are high need. I thought it was best to be honest. But is that too upfront? Should I kind of bury it in the small print?
