My husband and I have 26 sits so far and are going to England for the first time in August for a month.
Anyone living in Wilmington and want to meet up in the next couple of weeks?
I’m not in the Wilmington area now - finished a 4 dog/2 week sit in Hampstead last month. But I have some experience with UK sits - 14 in 2022 and 2 in 2019. Also 3 in Australia and 1 in South Korea. Happy to chat by phone or other if you’d like. I am sitting in eastern time through late August.
Tom, thanks for your response. We lived in Hampstead for 4 years before moving to Wilmington. (Sidewalks, more than a single main road).
We have two sits scheduled in West Yorkshire and plan to use trains/buses to get around. Do you have a favorite app for the public transportation? I have Rome2Rio and wonder what else to use for regional service between Manchester Airport, Leeds, York, then towns/villages.
I’m from Swansboro, N.C. and am sitting in Brussels until 28 Aug and then am back to the UK for 9 more sits. I love doing this! Trains can get expensive…I usually use the train line app and pay for the over 60 discount travel card. Feel free to ask or give info. I’d love to meet for dinner or theater, music, or coffee.
