When it comes to choosing the right sitter for your pets and home, what’s most important to you?

Do you prefer to reach out to a sitter you already know, or do you enjoy meeting new members of the community?

It’ll be great to hear about some amazing connections that you’ve made and some tips to help newer members who are starting their housesitting journey.

Everyone’s experiences and preferences will be a little different, so it’s good to read what works for you!

I don’t like ‘reaching out’ to anyone, I always prefer to ‘contact’ them. Alright, alright, before anyone has a go at me, there’s really no need, but I just couldn’t resist :rofl::rofl::rofl:!

Hopefully we will hear the results of your findings at some point.

You asked sitters back in March about their preference as to how they refer to hosts/homeowners and they are still awaiting the outcome.

I’m just going with hosts :wink:

All of the above.

We don’t reach out to sitters, even past sitters, as it’s just so unlikely that schedules line up. We just put the listing up and go from there.
