Airbnbs that mandate care of owner pets?

This just about covers how I feel about cat sitting. I could see a situation where we really might need or want to be out all day for siteseeing and it wouldn’t work for a sit or the idea of being “stuck” in a specific place for too long won’t work on a vacation, but most of the time a cat or two or four or five is not really work or anything that would cram my style.

We love dogs too, but go on dog sits sparingly and only if we can imagine how that particular dog sit will work for us and not make us feel tied down.

This is exactly it. I was shocked when they told me this story and that it hadn’t put them off doing it again - I even sent them my code for this site!! The air bnb’er let my friend know they hadn’t seen the cat for a few days, not eating the food being put down, and that was that … it wasn’t until my friend return home from their trip two nights later and also didn’t see the cat on their first night home that they went out looking. Poor thing has been locked in a garage and we severely dehydrated and scared.
