but definitely considering that option for the future.
It’s partly to do with Time Zones as well, I found with sits in Australia most people posted them in the early morning (5-7am) or late evening (7-9pm) there which translates to specific time windows here in the UK depending on which location was of interest.. Once I’d sussed that I was easily able to get sits. So for example Perth WA, people posting a sit early morning it’d show up around 2-5pm my time but evening postings would show up here 2am! Most went to ‘reviewing’ within a couple of hours. So yes you need a clear strategy.

Hey @BonnyinBrighton I’m currently in Australia so time shouldn’t be an issue really, at the moment I’m casually browsing just to see what’s out there. Nothing yet that meets my picky criteria

Perth is good for sits as lots of locals go skiing in Japan this month. If you do horses there’s a nice sit in Canberra just popped up.
There’s also quite a few on Aussie Housesitters.
Good to see they are finally being transparent about this. It might be intimidating for newer sitters, but it’s better to be over-prepared than stuck at the airport.
