This is great advice. We’ve been sitting for 8yrs now and until I joined this forum a few months ago we were unaware of this particular condition (before you keyboard warriers say anything…yes i know it is our responsibility to read the terms and conditions) we are not prepared to pay vets costs up front, if we did I feel the anxiety of worrying if we would get reimbursed would push me over the edge!
We are due to travel abroad in September for several months, during that time we will be hiring several cars and will have to leave substantial deposits on our credit card and they say you don’t get reimbursed straight away, so we will be in a situation where 2 x car hire deposits will be on our card plus paying up front for airbnb etc, doing a sit and potentially having to put a vets bill onto our card is just not feasible for us.
