Exactly! And in the case of the OP here, the HO did not communicate the 5pm feeding requirement which is what led to this discussion.

I couldn’t agree more with you.

You mention what I think is the key factor here: making a good match for both parties. For that, clear upfront, timely communication is essential; making assumptions is not a good indicator of good communication.

I remember there was a whole thread about assumptions, perhaps we could go back to some posts as, IMHO, in the multicultural world of sitting, there are no safe assumptions to be made.
