Dog Bolts On Walks -- HOs Considering Early Return

If anyone goes abroad where they’re not legally allowed to sit in exchange for housing, because it’s considered work, be careful about bringing leashes or other pet gear. That’s in case they search your baggage and it ends up making them (more) suspicious about you maybe sitting, rather than say being a normal tourist.

I have a hands-free leash that I prefer (you can wear one end across your torso or around your waist as you walk a dog or say sit down for a drink or meal). I considered bringing it with me on sits abroad (because the U.K. for instance has so many dog-friendly pubs, restaurants and such). But I decided against it to avoid raising border agents’ suspicions.

This Home Owner has a drone to find her dog and get it back on track!
My essential bag of tricks is getting bigger by the day!
I could have used a drone on my Lab Alsatian mix I got as a pup from a farm… He was always going on walkabout if I let him off lead!
Sorry this site wouldn’t accept the video footage, but you can imagine the scene!

Well done for getting the dogs back each time after they bolted!!

You could just say that your dog recently died and your friend has a dog that could use them.
