That was a little terse.
I have never had problems before and, after lots of suggestions, I’ve made quite a few changes to my profile.

It certainty wasn’t meant to be unfriendly though, if that’s the tone you put on it when you read it. Just how i saw it.
Even for very attractive sits, I think 30 invitations might not be enough. People are not available (work, family, social obligations). Or not interested in a sit nearby. Or not willing to travel.
It also varies with the season. In hot summer months, a pool would be highly attractive to local sitters (especially if one allows guests). The rest of the year not so much.

From my own experience and what I read on here invites rarely work for the reasons you mention.
