A friend was in Cyprus and there was a snake in the kitchen cupboard. She had to get the neighbour to come and get it out.
I think all hosts should do this esp on longer sits and I am incredibly appreciative when they do. Four times I’ve used the Just In Case funds and several times, I wished they had one. Twice was for chicken breast and rice on long sits where the pets had tummy troubles, and once to buy treats at the pet shop, and once when a repairman had to come.
