I am a real animal person who can’t have a pet at the moment and haven’t had one since I was a kid, because my lifestyle hasn’t been suited to a pet. I hope that next year or so I’ll finally be in a position to have my own. I am getting older and have more of a desire to settle I think, and leaving the animals behind each time after a sit is getting to me!
completely agree. I joined TH to travel. I love animals and take exquisite care of those in my charge. I do not understand these posts from HOs – of course we do it to travel. I can go to the dog park down the street to get my fix (which I sometimes do).
