Apologies, I’ve only just realised that this is a recently-revived, old thread. Though I think it’s still relevant for pet parents to understand that ‘available’ on the calendar doesn’t mean that sitters are available to any request, in any place.
I felt the need to respond since you quoted me. I have never said that I expect people to be on call for a listing.
In the sake of not trying to drum up owner vs sitter conflict (which is what some on this forum like to do)… My statement of it being time wasting was the fact that the availability feature needs to be more efficient.
My frustrations was not at the sitters but at the lack of a proper availability feature. If that was on the platform, it can save time in owners not contacting sitters that aren’t available.
I’m a grown adult who is very considerate and thoughtful of others. I also run a small business that’s in the hospitality/service industry. Trust I don’t need to be chastised on how to treat others… My reviews & testimonials (professionally & personally) speak for itself.
