The answer in our case is also - not that much. Like you we don’t wear shoes in the house, and we do many of the things you do. In fact, so do many of those who have responded to the thread from their replies.
You say you don’t understand why there’s “so much time given over to cleaning”, but then you list 6 different tasks you do daily - perhaps without even thinking about it. I suspect most on this thread do more or less the same amount of cleaning as you and I, just distributed slightly differently. For example we won’t necessarily hoover every day if I don’t feel it is needed.
I think it comes down to personal preference. Lots of us keep the house clean and tidy as we go but still put in a little extra effort at or close to the end of the sit to ensure the home is to our own personal standards. I am that person who goes round after the hoovering picking up tiny specks of fluff! Anyone else?
