Hi @Rainaire , sorry you are dealing with this . I know how stressful a situation this is - we’ve had sits cut short 3 times !
It would be helpful to know why the host are returning early - The T&Cs that we all sign up to neither sitters or hosts are permitted to cancel or curtail sits unless there are extraordinary circumstances.
THS can set rules and mediate disputes, but they can’t stop a homeowner from returning home early.
Unless you have Premium membership before the sit is cancelled there’s nothing you can claim from THS .
What you can do
Call the Urgent Support Phone line . It’s a 24/7 phone number
If you want THS remind the host that sits should not be cut short (unless there are extraordinary circumstances ) they will do this .
If you want THS to get the end date amended so that you can apply for other sits - they will do this .
You can also raise a member dispute - but that won’t sort your immediate issue .
Can you return home ? Do you have flights already booked ? Will the curtailment of the trip cost you money if you have to change flights ?
