My original plan. It turns out, however, there is no need for that as even the smallest street vendors these days have the means to accept contactless payments
@RadarInc Don’t rely on that in India or other 3rd world countries! In our experience ‘cash is still king’ in many poorer countries.

I don’t generally carry cash in the states but when going overseas I try to have local currency for small vendors/shops to save them the fee for credit card purchases.
