A solid Welcome Guide is a great start for any sit, I can’t encourage them enough.
In the forum, I started a discussion which encourages pet parents to share their tips for welcoming sitters to their home, be sure to add your advice to the list 
That discussion also links to a really handy THS website which offers general advice on how to prepare a home for a sitter.
There’s also a sitter checklist too. These lists will never be 100% perfect as each home, pet and location will vary, but they’re a really useful starting point.
